Make sure that the period between your exchange of contracts and the completion date is as long as possible for the sale of your house.
AT LEAST TWO TO THREE WEEKS, if achievable. This is so that you can give plenty of notice to all parties concerned.
After all, you don’t want to exchange contracts just a few days before your move, only to find out that your removal company is fully booked!
